Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medic
Responsibilities:
- Medical Care: Provide medical care and assistance to all personnel on drilling sites, including assessment, treatment, and stabilization of injuries and illnesses.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies, administering first aid, CPR, and other life-saving measures as necessary, and coordinating with emergency medical services for evacuations if required.
- Health Promotion: Promote health and wellness among personnel through education, training, and preventive measures, including vaccination programs, health screenings, and hygiene practices.
- Medical Documentation: Maintain accurate medical records of all patient encounters, including assessments, treatments, medications administered, and referrals for further care.
- Medication Management: Manage and dispense medications according to established protocols, ensuring proper storage, administration, and documentation of medication usage.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all medical equipment and supplies are properly maintained, calibrated, and stocked to meet the needs of the drilling site and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards, conducting regular inspections and audits to identify and address potential risks and hazards.
- Training and Education: Conduct training sessions and drills on medical procedures, emergency response protocols, and health and safety practices for drilling site personnel.
- Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for medical-related matters with clients, regulatory agencies, and external medical providers, representing the company in medical audits and inspections.
- Administrative Duties: Assist in the development and implementation of medical policies, procedures, and protocols, and participate in meetings, committees, and other activities related to occupational health and safety.
